who and why???
Hi everyone! I'm Eliseo Jimenez, a 17-year-old student at Lubbock High School, and I'm thrilled to share that I will be starting a fundraising walk from Lubbock, Texas to Washington D.C. on July 12, 2024. I am undertaking this journey to raise support and donations for the New Life Foundation, which provides essential assistance to individuals with disabilities and senior citizens. I hope to not only raise vital funds but also draw attention to the lack of support from the federal government for these vulnerable populations. It's my goal to raise awareness about these issues and advocate for the changes that are needed. I am incredibly excited about this opportunity to make a meaningful impact, and I invite you to join me in supporting the New Life Foundation!
To travel from the Lubbock, Texas town hall to the United States Capitol in Washington D.C., the journey typically takes approximately 38 days, allowing for necessary breaks for rest, bathing, and meals along the way. This will be one of the hardest things I have ever attempted and I hope that this will gain national recognition.
